Physique isn’t just about working out!

Currently I am preparing my body to compete again. I am working with the same coach from 2018 and going to compete in WBFF male fitness model again. I placed 3rd overall last time, but I am extra motivated this time to conquer for the number 1 spot. Things got pretty tough in 2020 with covid-19 and I suffered a near death experience with sepsis, but as always fitness has helped me stay balanced and focused.

Obtaining the right physique isn’t just about working out, but getting enough sleep, a calculated diet and the right supplements to help enhance the progress. Some of the supplements I use on a daily basis are the are the FX Supps Elite Heat, CLA, BCAA and FX Supps Whey Isolate (Strawberry my favorite).

Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA’s) are essential for muscle growth and work hand in hand with the whey isolate I take after a workout. According to a 2017 research study (, people who consumed a drink with 5.6 grams of BCAAs after resistance workout had 22% greater increase in muscle protein synthesis compared to those who consumed a placebo drink.

The FX CLA, aka Conjugated Linoleic Acid, and the FX Elite Heat I use to help give me a kick in my work. CLA has been shown to reduce body fat, combining that with a thermogenic (Elite Heat), I get a kick start to my bodies enzymes in properly using the nutrients already in my body as energy to effectively execute a workout. I only take 1 Elite Heat, but I know some people that can tolerate more, such as taking 1 in the morning and one before a workout.

I think it's really important to note, that you can’t just take these supplements and expect them to have an effect on your fitness goals. You still have to do the work in the gym and at home, these supplements only help reinforce what I am working towards.
